Late yesterday, several puppies and their moms were rushed into our care from a sad situation. Their owner had too many animals and was unable to provide all of them with the proper care. Our Animal Protection Unit was called in and arrived on scene to bring these tiny puppies and their loving moms to Atlanta Humane. Once they were safely in Atlanta, our team jumped into action to provide them with medical support and quickly placed them into loving foster homes.
But these puppies have a long road ahead of them. Nine of them are just days old and will need specialized care. The other 4 are only a month old. Their moms are all scared, confused, and still learning to trust — unsure of what lies ahead for them and their puppies.
